Title: LSU @ UT
Post by: MikeDeTiger on November 13, 2017, 03:24:43 PM
Some of us were hoping to be the reason Butch was ousted.

I'd like to still take credit if that's okay.

Far as I'm concerned, he saw us coming, said his "oh shits," and bailed.

I heard Gruden is taking over on Tuesday and the Vols will blow out the Tiggers.  Prove me wrong!

Also, recruits will LINE UP to play for him thus securing a #1 recruiting class for the Vols in February, as well as the 2018-2019 National Playoff Champions.

Hmm....Gruden is calling the Monday night game with Dolphins @ Panthers.  Kinda thought he'd be out recruiting.  Or at least drawing up a game plan for us.

Never know what to expect from these fired-coach-new-interim-coach games.

In 1999 LSU fired DiNardo with one game remaining, O-line coach Hal Hunter took over as interim coach and one week after losing to Houston, LSU blasted Arkansas to close out a miserable 3-8 season on a high note.

Florida lost McElwain and then promptly laid an egg in Shannon's debut.

Last year LSU fired Miles 4 games in and then played probably their best game of the year against Missouri.

Many more examples......I've seen them go both ways.

That was, without a doubt, the lamest game I have watched in a few years.  And I've suffered through some of the Florida-Georgia derp-fests of recent years.

Both of those teams need to issue a written apology to the fans and to ESPN for being contracted to broadcast it.

I'm only partially kidding.
