Title: Quoting posts from a phone
Post by: Anonymous Coward on July 23, 2017, 05:30:23 PM
The mobile version of this site is far prettier than the last one was by phone (better margins, so no need to zoom to read or click small buttons). However, the icon to quote someone does not appear by phone. Can this please be added?

In case it's just my set-up that has this issue, I should say I use an iPhone with the mobile Safari browser.

allow me to brag... I built both themes (desktop and mobile), and the mobile one if my first foray into such... and... there are holes and gaps throughout it.

I will certainly address that, Sir!  I'm sure it's something stupid i did like not close a declaration or something... 99% of my problems here are brainfarts.

there is but one I haven't gotten to yet that [member=46]ALA2262[/member] brought to me attention, and it is buried deep in the source code... so deep, I don't know where.   :73:  ... but.... I'll find it ultimately.

Ha, I think you just did the brush-your-shoulder-off move. Nice.

Impressive, Drew :bravo_2:.  So is the mobile theme responsive to screen size?  It seems to resize to portrait/landscape pretty well but it doesn't all fit on the screen of my 5.2" phone in landscape mode. The culprit seems to be the (Read xx Times) by the topic header.

thank you, Sir!

see if that doesn't fix that issue... I shrunk the text size for that area...

got 'em... both...

i just hid the post title, as there isn't really a need for it in the mobile view, and the buttons for quote/modify/remove should be back, too...

the size should be responsive.

on my galaxy tablet, the portrait view is mobile but the landscape view is desktop... the breaking point is 650px.
