Yes he was. And Julio Jones was out of bounds and touched the ball first making the ball dead and immaterial where the hell PP was.

It appears not all Gumps lack awareness that Alabama gets every benefit of the doubt.  

I'm kind of surprised al.com would publish something like this, and I can't tell if it's intended to be tongue in cheek or serious.  Given the average online Gump.....dead serious is my guess.  

Still, I have to say the sheer cowardice and shamelessness of this article from an Alabama outlet is delicious.
