Title: 1997 Who was that?
Post by: OrangeAfroMan on October 08, 2019, 03:04:31 PM
I'm doing the '97 Vols for my board game, and their leader in sacks was DE Jonathan Brown, #91.  And I have no memory of him.  That defense was all about L.Little and the LBs, but how has my memory whiffed on a guy that had 13.5 sacks?!?!

Anyone have anything that could jog my memory of him?  Is he an obvious, known guy on your end?  One-year wonder?

Good DE.

We had good LBs then. People schemed to keep Al Wilson and Little out of the backfield that leaves some else with less blockers to fight through.

i saw this and forgot to come back and respond.  @DunkingDan (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1552) nailed it.  it must be said, though, that entire defense was nasty, mostly because they were motivated and challenged each other.

I think Al motivated anyone who did not give 150%. The d definitely had a attitude during his time there.
