This week's B1G Games based on our current Power Rankings (https://www.cfb51.com/big-ten/b1g-power-rankings-week-5-11486/):
- #1 tOSU vs #6 MSU
- #2 Wisconsin OOC vs State of Kent
- #3 Penn State vs #12 Purdue
- #4 Iowa at #5 Michigan
- #7 Minnesota vs #13 Illinois
- #8 Northwestern at #9 Nebraska
- #10 Indiana off
- #11 Maryland off
- #14 Rutgers off
Four teams are either off or playing a MAC weakling. The five B1G games are mostly fairly interesting.
#1 tOSU vs #6 MSU: Great tOSU teams in the past have lost to worse MSU teams. It happens.
#3 PSU vs #12 Purdue: Probably the least interesting game of the weekend . . . as long as PSU isn't looking ahead.
#4 Iowa at #5 Michigan: This will really sort out the rankings.
#7 Minnesota vs #13 Illinois: Based on what they have done so far this year it is safe to predict that Minnesota will barely win this game.
#8 Northwestern at #9 Nebraska: This will really sort out the rankings.

I know it's probably because of the massive implications of which team is the bigger powerhouse, but Maryland and Rutgers play each other this weekend.
-
Oops, how did I miss that?
sorry
-
I predict that the Wisconsin game will not go very well for Kent.
-
#8 Northwestern at #9 Nebraska: This will really sort out the rankings.
yes, they will either swap spots or stay the same
-
Not if one team beats the other by like 50 points.
-
fingers crossed that Frost's offense EXPLODES this afternoon
I will be there in the Stadium with my daughter and a friend of mine that graduated from Northwestern and of course will be wearing purple
-
So Fearless will be easy to spot in the crowd shots?
-
He'll be drunk on sharkwater and streaking at half time so ya

Well, rutgers fired its head coach and OC. Then its starting QB quit. You probably just figured they decided to call the game off :)

It didn't even provide that much clarity.
The home team won by a FG.
The wiseguys in the desert tell us that HFA is worth ~3 points so this seems pretty inconclusive.
-
yup, not sure either team deserved to win
moving up one slot in the power rankings
