Title: After further review ....
Post by: Cincydawg on September 25, 2019, 01:10:29 PM
Perhaps, "we" jumped all over Michigan too hard and pumped up Wisconsin too far?

If Michigan beats ND at home, "we" might over react again?

Perfect storm?

Stay tuned.

No question that if Michigan beats Iowa at home, then Penn State on the road, and follows that up with a win over the Irish, this conversation will have changed...a lot.

My concern--as a Badger fan--is that our biggest win in a while won't look that hot anymore if Michigan loses to Iowa, at Penn State, and against Notre Dame. None of which would surprise people right now. Then a loss to Ohio State, even if Michigan beats MSU, and this is a 5-loss team. Based on what we've seen so far, that wouldn't be shocking.

what else is new.

Last year all we heard was that Bama was the greatest CFB team ever assembled.

In the end it didn't even go down as one of the top 5 Bama teams under Nick Saban.

You'd think they had a team full of Terminators, the way they were being talked about.

Nah--there's still an assumption that Ohio State is a huge roadblock and that the Badgers aren't in the conversation with the likes of Alabama and Clemson (and, frankly, they aren't until they prove they are). And I still worry about Iowa.
