bama already suffering some bad injuries.
dylan moses rumored to have injured acl last night in practice. that makes both starting mlb out for season, with mcmillan out all season as well.
rb sanders is out all season too.
we've got 3 starting/rotation dline guys with nagging injuries in ray, dale, and wynn.
i know everyone will say plug and replace, esp at lb, but we're actually really thin there. we've missed on a few guys last couple cycles on top of a few not panning out as hoped. gonna be a lot of young lb's playing this season.

It's easy to say plug&play, right? Doesn't magically gift them the experience or replace the lost knowledge, though.
Part of the game but attrition stinks.

If there is one program in the country that cannot play the injury card, it's Bama. Their run the past 7-8 years has had them with the most talented rosters in college football history (since scholly limits). So no, I'm not shedding a tear for the Tide being "thin" at LB.
-
They could now be inexperienced at whatever position.
-
Sure.
But with their baseline talent and depth elsewhere, Bama could honestly take a 3rd-string RB, convert him to LB, and he'd end up an All-American by next year. It's sick.

The Dawgs have a few injuries to starters now, not many, and of the 2-3-4 game variety. A WR broke his hand (and fumbled). They should be OK for the next two games.
