On to Minneapolis for Round 5. The Maryland Terrapins suffered the ignominy of getting boatraced at home by UCF last Saturday. To add injury to insult, their backup QB was lost for the season in that game. Now they head to the East Bank for their league opener being unable to hold onto the ball for very long. They are near the bottom of the conference standings, only holding onto the ball for 26:54 of their 3 contests. The Gophers are #2 in the league, holding on for 36:44 per game.
If any of you are making the trip to Minneapolis for this game, feel free to join us at the East River Flats for pregame at 0700. In the interim, consider the following:
Q: How long will the Minnesota Gophers hold onto the ball vs. Maryland?
Deadline is Saturday, September 30 at 11 AM CDT. Good hunting.
