Despite the top-5 matchup, rematch of last year's B1GCG, and possible preview of this year's B1GCG, this will not be the College GameDay game as the ESPN Show will be broadcasting from Provo, Utah for Notre Dame's visit to BYU.
There seem to be a lot of questions about Cignetti's and Day's squads and this game should give us a more-or-less undisputed front-runner.

No doubt THE game of the year, at least until next month.

Notre Dame's visit to BYU??
must see TV

Interesting that there are four teams undefeated in league play and they are playing each other so after Saturday there will be two.
Also interesting that this weekend's games will be the last between undefeated teams because neither Indiana nor Ohio State plays either Wisconsin or UCLA. Thus, after this weekend the tOSU/IU and UW/UCLA winners will control their own destiny and everyone else will need them to lose.

I've got Ohio State by 11 or so. Something like 31-20.
-
I agree with the vegas spread -3.5
-
Indiana 30, Ohio State 24
-
Hoosiers didn't get 30 vs NW or UNL
tOSU 24
IU 20

The series is beyond lopsided. Indiana famously has more losses than any other program and no opponent has beaten them more times than Ohio State. @betarhoalphadelta (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=19) will be happy to know that Purdue is second.
Ohio State leads the all-time series 81-13-5 and as bad as that sounds the reality is arguably worse because Indiana joined the league and became a major program sooner. Thus, Indiana went 5-0-1 in the first six games from 1901-1913. Since then the Buckeyes have won close to nine out of 10.
For perspective, Indiana had by far their best run of the last century over the course of the Bruce to Cooper transition at Ohio State. The Hoosiers went 2-1-1 from 1987-1990 but take note of what came both before and after that:
- Prior to 1987 Indiana hadn't beaten Ohio State since Woody Hayes' first season almost four decades earlier: The Buckeyes went 30-0-1 from 1952-1986.
- After their 1990 win the Hoosiers didn't beat the Buckeyes again until the 2025 B1GCG: Ohio State went 30-0 from 1991-2024.

You can only do so much to undo shitty MSU coaching

Thank you, Buckeyes.

The only head coach to lose back to back games vs the Hoosiers was in the 19-ots. Day avoids becoming the second.
