It's back to band for me tonight. Westerville North made sure to schedule defending champs Olentangy Orange a couple weeks ago and got horsewhipped. Tonight we host runner up St. Xavier out of Cincinnati. We'll see how that goes. At the least, it's supposed to be a pretty nice night.
Tomorrow is supposed to be mild and rainy, which sounds like a pretty amazing time watching football all day in the sunroom. The wife will be working, the girls will be wiped out. Sounds tranquil.
I should also mention today is the 25th Anniversary of 9/11. A landmark for ten million reasons, but a small one is that it I was just a couple weeks into my first year of law school at Ohio State. A perk of going to OSU is season tickets to the football games. My second year of law school marked OSU winning a national championship (with me in attendance), which set off a lifelong passion for talking to strangers on football message boards. Which is how I found all of you!
