Title: #11 Oklahoma (1-0) at Michigan (1-0) Game Week
Post by: Temp430 on September 08, 2026, 10:33:55 AM
If the opener means anything, it's going to be an ugly, ugly Maize out in Ann Arbor this Saturday night.  It's do or die time for Underwood.

Nah, just standard rivalry hate.  If I were talking up some other team beating the dirt burglars, that would be third party smack talk.

Perhaps the greatest helmet matchup of cheaters in college football history

Bryce Underwood? More like Bryce Under-throw. This will be one of the most embarrassing home losses in Michigan history. Oklahoma is going to dog-walk them. Oklahoma will have maybe the best defense they'll see all year- I don't see how Michigan even gets a first down.

I’d bench Underwood after two sequential possessions without points or upon any turnover on his part.  Hope Carr is getting a lot of live snaps in practice this week.

Joel Klatt’s remarks on Underwood were brutal.

yeah, disagree with that completely.

Carr is an 18 year old true freshman that is even more green than Underwood. He's not going to be the savior vs an Oklahoma defense that should be among the very best defenses in the country in his first ever action vs live bullets.

Don’t consider Carr the savior, but would give him the opportunity.  He might be better than Underwood.

Jake Butt made an interesting comment that what we’re seeing with Underwood is the difference between State St. and Main St.

don't think it is even that. Underwood has regressed as a QB. he is worse now than when he first stepped foot on campus last year. he lost an entire year of development last year and developed some very bad habits that he can't seem to shake. game has not slowed down for him and his footwork and mechanics are still all over the fucking place.

he should have transferred somewhere else sat a year behind a vet and developed like Dante Moore did when he left UCLA and went to Oregon.

Eh, Michigan and Oklahoma have gone above and beyond.  In an era when you could pay players, Oklahoma did so more blatantly.  In an era where we thought cheating was done, Michigan found a way.  And not to mention literally every champion coach in football, basketball, baseball has either been fired for cheating, or got out ahead of the posse, except oddly Lloyd Carr, who remains so underappreciated

Michigan and Oklahoma in a cheating contest
