For WN football game, I'm creating teams from way back, and that's fun and good, but it's not "WOW!"
I've got up to this past year's teams all created. I'm up to 48 All-Time teams. I can nickel and dime some more of those, getting to all the P6/5/4 programs eventually. No problem.
But as for something novel, I was thinking all-decade teams. But which would you suggest would be most intriguing/enticing???
All-Time decade teams for:
A - all of college football (one all-80s team, one all-50s team, etc)
B - for each conference (Big Ten all-70s, Big Ten all-00s, SEC all-90s, etc)
C - for each school (So you might already have all-time OSU, but now you could get all-70s OSU, all-10s OSU, etc).
D - Individual, year-by-year All-American teams (1968 AA team, 2002 AA team, etc)
Maybe rank the 4 options for me? Idk. I'm leaning towards B. But C would be fun if you're a real die-hard of one school, or if you're playing intergenerational with family or something. A would feel very similar to existing all-time teams. D would be easier in terms of having to pick players, as they'd already be identified.
What say you?

C & then B

How about some more opinions?

C, B, A....D.
curious if you know what the age Demo is for your typical buyer. that can or should influence which year, decade, era you create.

They trend around 55-60 yrs old, so the sweet spot is 70s-80s.

I like the idea of all-decades teams by school, conference, and/or all of NCAA.

I'll start on some of those.
One option I hadn't thought about was year-by-year all-conference teams.
It's a great way to include very good players from yesteryear instead of only the very elite ones. It feels good to recall them through a game format.
