The thread that might make you throw up in your mouth a little bit, but an opportunity to admit some truths.
I really liked Tennessee LB Al Wilson. He was really good and fast. Wearing 27 was unique. They had really good LB corps around his time.
I liked FSU RB Greg Jones. He was super jacked and ran over people. He probably got too jacked, tbh. Kind of like David Boston did at OSU. Cared more about looking ripped than being a great football player.
Peter Warrick was also a human highlight on the field. I didn't like him, but I liked watching him.
For Georgia, I liked LB Randall Godfrey for some reason. I know Bowers got tons of pub, deservedly so, but I really liked TE Ben Watson for them. I think he played a lot on New England and is on TV now. He was really good.

Justin Boren

Marion Barber III and Lawrence Maroni. Great pair of backs for the Gophers.

Darrell Thompson RB Goophs
Matt Roth DE Iowa

I almost liked the Boz
-
God forgive me, I liked both Tua Tagovailoa and Bryce Young. I didn't want to, but I did.
I kinda liked Tebow when he played. His relentless optimism and cheery attitude made him hard to keep a grudge against.

Texas A&M-- Linebacker Dat Nguyen. Heck of a player, team guy, high motor. I really liked and respected him.
Oklahoma-- Quarterback Sam Bradford. Really good player, good leader, and by many accounts a decent all around guy.

I honestly can't remember any Indiana or Notre Dame players I liked...

I honestly can't remember the names of any Indiana football players... at all.

Antwaan Randle-El -- I remember that one.

I liked Red Grange a lot.

I liked Red Grange a lot.
But be honest-- you liked watching Knute Rockne play even more, right?
-
Mario Manningham was someone I hated playing so much, I maybe liked him. Respected a ton anyway.
Minnesota? Have to think on that.

Antwaan Randle-El -- I remember that one.
Oh yeah sounds familiar. Without looking it up, I think I recognize his name from the NFL rather than college football.

"Like" is kinda strong for an opponent.
But The Big Rig John Riggins was a cool cat. As a Redskin, anyway. He played at KU before TV came to Kansas, I think.
-
I appreciated Steve Everitt, repping the Browns after they moved to Baltimore.

Leroy Hoard and Ricky Powers both RBs played in AA and for the Browns and both were ballers
-
Powers and Boles were really good for UM in the late 80s.
-
Oklahoma-- Quarterback Sam Bradford. Really good player, good leader, and by many accounts a decent all around guy.
I didn't like him until he played for the minnesooota Vikings

The only FSU Seminole I ever rooted for was safety Myron Rolle.
Always thought it was very cool how at the halftime of a 2008 game @ Maryland, Rolle arrived to play the second half after flying by private jet from a Rhodes Scholarship interview.
Rolle was a 3rd-team All-American in 2008 and, after finishing a Masters at Oxford University, was drafted in the 6th round by the Tennessee Titans in 2010.
After bouncing around the NFL for a few years, Rolle entered Medical School. He is now Dr Myron Rolle, Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando FL.

I think there were some power Minnesota tailbacks I begrudgingly liked.
