Might be the only post here, but hiring Gary Patterson as DC.

Might Lincoln be taking defense seriously?

I know Gary Patterson is 65 years old and his time at TCU ended on a down note,  but you would think he could have his choice of about half the head coaching jobs in the P4 if he wanted.  Maybe he just misses coaching but does not want the stress of being a head coach.
