Title: Washington (2-2, 5-2) at Michigan (3-1, 5-2) Post Game
Post by: MaximumSam on October 15, 2025, 06:49:12 PM
This is the Big Nude game, and I think it could be fun. The Dubs have a great QB and great skill guys and a kind of crappy line. Michigan is coming off getting whipped by USC, but the line should hold up and they are at home.

Also I'm a big fan of UW's quarterback. Love his game.

Michigan should bounce back and take this game. But the offense will have to average better than the 3.5 ypc and convert more than 2 of 11 third downs of last week. And M* has a score to settle as the Huskies won last year at home

These two teams are second and third among "others receiving votes" so effectively 27th and 28th. The winner will almost certainly be ranked on Sunday.

These are two of the nine B1G teams with exactly one league loss and this is PROBABLY the second toughest remaining game for each of them with only their rivalry games on Thanksgiving weekend likely tougher. What that means is that there is a decent chance that the winner will be plausibly in the CG race at least until Thanksgiving but the CG participants are unlikely to have two conference losses so the loser is out unless mass chaos ensues.

line I saw had Michigan favored by 6.5 points. seriously thinking about putting $1k on Washington +6.5. that's easy money to me.

I have zero faith in Sharon in his janitor jacket at the press conference. Moore is coaching for his job here whether he realizes it or not. Michigan boosters aren't paying the freshman phenom $12 million to lose games at home as almost touchdown favorite and have embarrassing road loss after embarrassing road loss.

Washington is a sneaky good team with an elite QB and Jedd Fisch is an elite offensive mind, meanwhile Michigan DC Wink Martindale is a fat washed up retard who was run out of the NFL. Jedd Fisch v Wink Martindale is a mismatch of epic proportions.

give me Washington by a FG. And fire Sharon and give me Jedd Fisch as the head coach. would kill for that guy to be Michigan's HC.

I tried it once, it was like the "Happy Days" segment where Fonzie couldn't say he was wrong it kept coming out "I was..wr-e-u, I was...wr-e-u...".So when I tried it kept coming out "Mmmm miss Noonan,Mmiss it"

Either Wink straightens it out or Michigan gets their ass handed to them again.   No idea which is the most likely scenario.  Keeping the starting defensive players on the field as much as possible might help.   The time to rotate in the youngsters to get experience has passed.

Don't forget your "easy money" bets on Texas and PSU 2 weeks ago.  Traveling cross-country to play a wounded-animal team with its back against the wall is dangerous stuff.

I think the Wolverines win by 10.

Well B.U. can run if they cut him loose but if he gets hurt the season goes out the window. Of course he'll turn into Michael Vick against tOSU.Specially with Mdot playing with Ouija boards, tarot cards, vodoo dolls and paying homage to Jobu

I'm sorry that this is WAY off topic in this thread, but that REALLY scares me about Penn State.  Talk about a wounded animal.  Catastrophic implosion of a season, coach fired, National Championship dreams crushed but . . .

They are still a lot of talented guys on that roster and the only thing that would salvage much of anything out of this dumpster fire for them would be to knock off a really highly ranked team . . . like #1 Ohio State in Columbus on November 1 or #3 Indiana in State College on November 8.

This. The only additional element is the offensive play calling. You can't run on first and second down over and over and wonder why the defense is worn out. Here's another ground breaking idea.. you win the toss, receive the ball and try to go run your offense.. Maybe.. just maybe, use the legs of underwood. He throws better on the run and the defense not being able to stack the box every single play might actually open up some opportunity. .just maybe.

I learned recently how to make golf not frustrating. Go through a significant medical situation where you can't golf for like 3 years. Go out to the course and hit the ball remotely ok. Shockingly, when you still have a couple terrible chip shots and missed putts and things that would have enraged you before, you just settle on the happiness of hitting some good drives and solid iron shots in the fairway. Perspective was shockingly everything for my first time out in a long time last week.. That being said, avoid the medical stuff to get the perspective.. that part blows.

RIP Sharon Moore. kind of think an L here and a couple more might be good for the program so they can just bite the bullet and get rid of him after this year....but then I remember that Warde Manuel is the AD so Michigan is probably stuck with Sharon even if he loses 5 games a season for the next 3 years.

Alabama also has a starting OL who started at MSU.  Granted he's a guard, and it's been the tackles, more than the interior line which has been the problem, but I think we could make room for a starting OL from Bama

damn you were right. i must confess after that USC debacle I just didn't see a double digit win vs a pretty decent Washington team with a very talented QB.

goes to show you Vegas knows what they are doing trapping people to bet on the side they want them to setting these lines. they don't build billion dollar casinos because they lose money from bettors.....

quick thoughts:

Bryce Underwood played his best game so far in his young career. Growing up before our eyes.

RS Frosh Cole Sullivan needs to be a full-time starting LB'er. Ridiculous that he is not. He is their best LB'er by far in pass coverage.

RS Frosh LT Blake Frazier is already better than the injured starter Evan Link he replaced.

True Frosh WR Andrew Marsh is a demon level player. Kid is going to be ELITE. I'd like to pair him with another Marsh who currently plays at Michigan State next year.....get the checkbook ready Larry.

RS Frosh RB Jordan Marshall is a DUDE. He needs more carries than he was getting pre-Haynes injury when Haynes comes back.

Michigan's top 2 TE's both out...AGAIN...and the #3 and #4 TE looked terrific. Are they really 4 deep at TE? I need to see more of #88 Tonnelli...he might be a DUDE and #83 Zack Marshall is shockingly fast for a TE.

DC Wink Martindale sucks. Still.

I hope and pray to god I never see WR Semaj Morgan on the field again.

Some weird stuff here:

And with mega-conferences the average travel distances are much longer than they used to be.

People have suggested that the increased travel doesn't matter that much, it doesn't affect the outcomes that much.

Those people are wrong.
