So it begins.
I'm just hopeful Wisconsin can hang with these guys. It's a tall order.
This isn't gonna help much.

Coming off two uninspiring wins. Surprising that you can beat a 29-point spread and feel bad doing it…
O-Line needs health and improvement. Not feeling great about this trip.
-
Rooting for the Badgers, but picking the Crimson Tide.
-
Ed Zachery!
-
On Wisconsin!
Also, 91 degrees is like a beautiful balmy spring day. No worries man.
-
Most of those boys ain't used to that kind of humidity.
-
Hard to know how the Badgers can keep this close if they can't get the run game going. Seeing that 18.5 point spread stings, but it also feels legit. Giving up big plays to MTSU is a bad sign when about to face a team with the athletes that Alabama has. Conversely, the big plays the Badgers picked up on Saturday were mismatches of size/talent. That 61-yard Kekahuna TD, well executed, probably goes for 8-12 yards against Alabama.
-
Can they hold their own in a trench rock fight?
Because that's the only way they have even a remote chance against that talent.
-
I’m excited for my beer, Greek chicken sandwich and fountain soda at the bar the alumni association does watch parties at.
-
There's a little holding out like Renfro (C) and Edwards (QB) might be available, but the two-deep for the game doesn't list either. Looks like the Badgers will send their patchwork O-line out to try to hold off the Tide. Yeesh, that's not comforting.
My heart is still telling me to hope, but as the English might say, it's the hope that kills you.
-
Edwards will travel, but very unlikely to play. Still waiting for an update on Refro. Really hope he can go.

goes without saying, huge game for both coaches that are on shaky ground right now.
Wisconsin pulls it off, Fickell is going to generate a ton of good will in Madison.
Bama loses at home....yikes. Kalen DaBoer might as well just fire himself and leave town. the Bammers will be out with the pitch forks.

Wisconsin is not winning this game.
2nd string QB, makeshift OL. Starting center out.
Not happening. I'll still watch, but I have zero hope.
And, that video was great @medinabuckeye1 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1547) . Hit the spot.

That guy does a lot of funny cfb content.

For all the hope that is trying to creep out of my heart, this is where I land. The only question is how bad it gets. Honestly, I suspect pretty bad. I think the Badgers will keep it respectable in the first half while their defense plays their hearts out. But--just like all of last season--as the offense continues to give the ball back to Alabama without getting first downs, the defense will wear down and finally give out. 38-6, Tide.

I don't think they will get beat that bad. The good news is that the front seven is about 2-3 times as deep as it was last year. They spent a lot of money there - we'll see if it shows up tomorrow.
The defense has given up 3 points on the season.
(I'm not counting the TD last week, where the O coughed up the ball on the 5 yard line before the half.)

38-6, Tide.
Your sandbagging is reaching 847-level proportions... Perhaps even exceeding them, as he just said he doesn't think it will be that bad.
IMHO it will be a lopsided Bama victory, but not THAT lopsided. But it's two teams that aren't the teams they were 5 years ago, but even being different [worse] than back then, Bama just has too many thoroughbreds for Wisconsin to keep up.
-
We shall see. I hope you're both right.

… ehhh, after watching the two badger games, I’m not the most confident.
if you told me the score was closer, I would assume that it had the most to do with Alabama‘s offense not being on the ball.
-
I've read that Bama is more vulnerable to the running game this season than they've been.
That would be good, if the Badgers had shown the ability to do so in the last two games.
-
Interesting development here. Word yesterday was that they were playing.

This would help, but I don't think he's the difference in winning this game or not. Bama just has too much talent.

This team is toast. Gues which is which!
