INSANE! All still Bama records. NCAA record for season sacks is 24. Will not recognize anything before 2000.

MARVIN JONES, a three-time All-America who won the Butkus and Lombardi awards in 1992.
-
good luck indeed... I had to go with Marvin Jones. Tough group. A lot of great players on that list
-
I just missed Derrick Thomas in college. Marvin Jones was good and had that dark shield like Dunbar - and just looked bad ass. He was the first great college LB of my memory.
But Thomas had infinite sacks, so I went with him.
-
Went with Derrick Thomas by a nose over Marvin Jones. I remember Marvin Jones once said while at FSU his perfect hit would be laying someone out and the trauma copter having to land on the field.
Yikes!
-
If he said that in 2018, he'd be suspended....
-
I'll bet Butkus said worse than that every week
and is revered for it
