You know the drill. COLLEGE ONLY! Who was the bestest?
-
"Mike Webster, C, Michigan St"
Ummm...
-
Grrrr, I did that when goggling as well.....for whatever the hell reason, Webster wears green in my head.
-
That's why i voted for him. Amazing career at 2 big ten schools.

George Webster played for the great MSU teams of the mid-60s. He's a CFB HOFer. 2nd MSU player to have his number retired. Two time AA. He was on SI's First Team All-Century team. He's a legit vote for #90.
Mike Webster got my vote here, but now looking at his college profile, I think I may have goofed and voted based on what he was as a pro, which is arguably the greatest center in NFL history.

I'm guilty of the same.

NO. 51 — KURT BURRIS, C, OKLAHOMA (1951-54)
A center and linebacker, Burris was an All-America in 1954 and the runner-up to Alan Ameche for the Heisman.

I probably shouldn't have even included Webster on the list. I'ma call a re-do.

Great thread.
Would read again and again.

Yes, vote or re-vote on the newer #51 thread, please.
