I don't remember Foreman being anything special

Then don't vote for him, lol.  I guess 2,000 yard seasons grow on trees now.  I guess you could say Barry Sanders wasn't anything special (just one big year).

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to be here.  I forgot his Doak season was that good.  I was just saying I didn't remember him being that good.  He deserves to be be here.

D'onta was a stud.  Pretty much the only bright spot on those woefully inept Charlie Strong offenses.

Not the best player on this list, but man I was glad to have him.

Wright might have had the best season for a LB, ever.
164 tackles
31 TFL
15 sacks
5 forced fumbles

This is a career assessment, but that one season was bonkers.

This is interesting in that Barry Sanders was a runaway winner for a tough number, but the guy who had the best season for a RB before Sanders doesn't even get a vote here (yet?).  Hmmph.

obviously Marcus was a system back or didn't do well in the NFL or just kicked too much B1G butt in the Rose bowl

I went with Slingin Sammy, but I'd have voted Marcus ahead of anyone else on the list

List of 3-time, consensus All-Americans since the WWII era:
Doc Blanchard & Glenn Davis (same backfield @ Army)
Kenny Easley (UCLA)  didn't win his number
Hugh Green (Pitt)
Jerry Robinson (UCLA)
Doak Walker (TCU)
Herschel Walker (UGA)
James Laurinaitis (OSU)  ain't gonna win his number

We rag the Heisman voters but we have a QB/RB bias too

Yeah, it's gross (inevitable?).
