yup. it’s an absolute fucking joke.

Mayb Franklin and Allar can stay the course

Well, they earned it by beating Ohio State at home and Oregon in the B1GCG to go undefeated, win the league, and get the #1 seed.
Oh, nevermind.

we have discussed the merits of the 5 seed

Can you both think Jeanty should have won the Heisman AND think Penn St has a red carpet to the semis?
-
nope
Jeanty shouldn't have won
-
Would anyone be shocked if Franklin blows this game?

Franklin blows???
is that the question?

this one is a Franklin special. exactly the type of game he'd blow. Jeanty might play for Boise but he's legit as fuck and they took Oregon to the wire. Penn State absolutely should win going away they out-match Boise in the trenches but Allar while supremely talented can be hot or cold and if he's cold Boise will have a great chance at the upset- and then like you said good shot Franklin blows it with some dumb decisions poor game management bad play calls.

I think it’s very unlikely that they blow the game, but I also think it’s funny that they are a high-end team with game manager type quarterbacking.
-
if the D-coordinator is smart enuff to limit Jeanty, Franklin won't have to worry

Boise State did about as well in Eugene as the Bucks did

Penn State 34, Boise State 24

I get that this is a subjective issue but IMHO, Oregon wasn't very good until at least the third week of the season and possibly until after their week off before UCLA.
In game #1 Oregon beat Idaho 24-14. Idaho is an FCS team and not a great one (good, not great). On top of that, it wasn't like Idaho scored late to make it look respectable. Nope, Oregon scored the last points and was only up by a FG DEEP into the fourth quarter . . . against a good-but-not-great FCS team . . . at home.
In game #2 Oregon needed to comeback to beat Boise after trailing in the fourth quarter.
In game #3 Oregon obliterated OrSU but OrSU was so bad that it is hard to read much from that.
Oregon had week 4 off.
In week #5 Oregon obliterated UCLA.
My guess is that it took a while for the transfer pieces to gel and Oregon simply wasn't very good the first few weeks but who knows.
