i think tate might be the only one i recognize. is that bad? or is this in running for worst #? not voting in this one.

Marcus Harris put up large career #s as a WR at WY, but yeah, #23 is pretty weak.
I'm struggling to come up with a Husker that wore #23, past Larry Arnold (a rare Osborne recruit from Ohio) at OLB in the Mid 90s. He was ok.

Yeah, the best for MSU is probably Kirk Gibson, who obviously is better known as a baseball player, but he is in the College Football Hall of Fame too.
Just noticed Javon Ringer is in the poll, solid, but Gibson was better.

I looked and looked....I could throw Dwayne Goodrich on there (MVP of 99 Fiesta Bowl, CB, Tennessee), but he was hurt a lot of his SR year. So that'd be rewarding a moment and not really a career.
I went with Marcus Harris, as he owned the all-time receiving yardage record when he left school.

Thanks. A number of schools have them, like USC, Florida, Michigan, Texas, among others.

Agreed, which is surprising

Odd how some are great and other numbers are meh, even in the low range.
I wonder what the most common numbers are for Heisman winners.
