Sadly, I think only losing by 6 at #7 Missouri is more impressive than winning by 15 in Tallahassee.
Their QB, Castellanos, is a dude. He makes a ton of plays, but also forces a lot. It will be on the MSU defense to stay disciplined, maintain contain, and limit his ability to improvise.
MSU's run blocking has been problematic, and now both starting OGs are done for the year. Only 6 scholarship non true freshmen on the line now. Nebraska transfer RuQuan Buckley repped on both sides of the ball last year, and rumors are he is now doing that again. Felt, anecdotally like MSU was able to convert a lot of 3rd and longs in the first 3 games, and as the opposition toughens, that's not a winning strategy. It's time for TE Jack Velling to step up. The Oregon State transfer has actually been somewhat of a disappointment.

Rumors that MSU's best WR, Nick Marsh, is now also hurt. Short term at least

This will be a good measuring stick game for MSU. I'm surprised how quickly Bill O'Brien has gotten things rolling after BC was stuck in purgatory for a few years w/ Hafley as the coach.

It’ll be a surprise if Michigan State can keep this game within one possession down the stretch. Bill O’Brien’s boys have played hard to start the season. BC will control the game at the lines, although MSU’s defensive front seven is tough enough to counter their OL. But BC’s OL has already held up well against two strong front sevens. The home crowd for the Eagles will show out in force; demand for this game (along with ticket prices) spiked once BC made the rankings.
Close at halftime until BC takes over: 31-13

Chiles needs to cut down on the turnovers. We controlled that game aside from his turnovers. Hopefully part of that was trying to find guys with his top 2 receivers out

A damn good showing for being so depleted. Chiles is going to just better.
