Iowa has a very weak offense but one of the NCAA's best defenses.
Will be a good pror Nico, .a shame our two best RB's have already opted out.
Along with 5 DB's entering the portal.

Ring out the old, ring in the new...
Time for Sampson and Nico to shine.
My concern is that Iowa will have more motivation. More to prove.
Their concern is that they haven't seen an O like ours. Nico is short on experience. But appears to be long on knack, feel, situational awareness, touch. Something Joe never had -- he was not a good fit for our O.
A bunch of DBs saw the writing on the wall. We'll see how the newbies perform.

And who says there isn't a Santa Claus. ;D Maybe TN will actually look like a team that can play offensive football again and half the plays won't be bubble screens. Any QB on the roster will be an improvement over Heupel's project from what I saw this year.
The defensive backs can't be any worse than the ones that started all year. Could be they haven't adapted to Martinez and Banks bad coaching as yet and still know how to play defense.
Sampson is a really good RB that should have gotten more playing time but didn't. :017:
Looks as though seniority is used instead of talent to select who starts or plays and who doesn't.
