1. Penn St. - PSU and Mich are both so dominating right now, the only way to settle this is on the field, as it should be. But first PSU has to prove it can beat Ohio St.
2. Mich - complete domination over 4 straight Big Ten opponents.
3. Ohio St - still undefeated but OSU has looked vulnerable. But now OSU gets its chance to prove itself against PSU.
Umm...
4. Iowa - Iowa beat Wisc.
5. Wisc - Wisc beat Rutgers.
6. Rut - Rutgers beat NW
7. NW. - NW beat Minn
8. Minn - Minn beat Neb
9. Neb. - Neb beat ILL
10. PUR. - Purdue beat ILL
11. ILL - ILL beat MD
12. MD - MD beat MSU and Ind.
13. MSU - MSU has beat nobody
14. Ind - Ind has beat nobody.
-
1. Michigan
2. Penn State
3. Ohio State
4. Iowa
5. Maryland (OSU beat them two weeks in a row)
6. Wisconsin (Can't let Iowa beat them two weeks in a row)
7. Rutgers
8. Purdue
9. Nebraska
10. Michigan State
11. Illinois
12. Minnesota
13. Northwestern
14. Indiana

I may revisit UW's ranking here, once we know what's happening with the QB1. The outlook is not good right now.

This is about where I am. The gap between Michigan and OSU/PSU is large. But, I think that’s true of Michigan and any other team in the land.
I think OSU/ PSU can hang with ANY other team out there.

1. Michigan - rounding into form on both sides of the ball. they may just have the best front 7 in CFB right now with the depth they have at DT, EDGE, and ILB + they also have the best CB in the entire sport in Will Johnson and a ridiculous safety room with the emergence of RS Frosh Keon Sabb + SS Makari Paige and the return of FS Rod Moore to health. They have 3 really good future NFL draft picks at safety right now, most college football teams don't even have 1.
2. Ohio State - McCord is growing up, OL needs to get better. D is salty.
3. Penn State - still not sure they are ready to usurp the Big 2. OL play meh and they lack ability to create explosive plays on offense and WR looks to be a concern. D is excellent.
these are the cream of the crop in the B1G, one for sure will win this conference and be a playoff team
BIG GAP between these 3 and rest of the league
4. Iowa
will be the sacrificial lamb from the West for slaughter in the B1G CCG. Little Gap between Iowa and the next tier
5. Wisconsin
6. Maryland
7. Rutgers
3 solid not great teams, will all go bowling
GAP
8. Purdue
9. Minnesota
10. Nebraska
11. Michigan State
12. Illinois
13. Indiana
14. Northwestern
these teams all go from kinda sucks to really really suck

Is this Iowa team the worst 6-1 P5 team ever?
Their avg score is 21-15.
Their only challenging opponent was a 31-0 loss.
.
When your top 6 pass-catchers include 3 TEs and a RB, your offense is broken.

yeah, I think UGA is right there with Michigan. To me they are the class of CFB right now. But OSU/PSU/Oklahoma/TX/FSU are right there in the ballpark.

they just may be. their offense is even more ass this year than it was last year. i don't know how that's possible. but it is so.

1) UM things will be shaking out
2) Ninnies have pasted their schedule
3) Good Guys slightly on the outside looking in
4)Hawkeyes barring injuries are gonna win the west
5) Terps I guess losing to the Illini at home even by just 3 doesn't help
6) Rutgers because UW is down 2 QBs
7) UW see above
8)'Skers
9)Spartans
10)Goophs
11)Illini
12)Boilers
13)Hoosiers

Iowa has already lost its starting QB and top 2 TE's, which in Iowa's case, means it's lost its top 2 receivers. But Iowa will survive as long as the punter does not get hurt.
the good news for Iowa its starter on the DL that's been out "all year" due to the gambling investigation "may be coming back soon.

Good to see he's over his jonesing binges

1. Michigan - Looks like the best in the B1G, but their schedule remains so pathetic there is room for doubt.
2. Ohio State - ND win is the best non conference win in the B1G, they look better every week.
3. Penn State - Iowa win looks much better now, WVU win, not so much. Big plays and receiver play continue to be an issue.
4. Iowa - They have a defense and a good punter, but their offense is so bad that they will eventually drop at least one (and possibly multiple) games they shouldn't.
5. Wisconsin - They will lose to OSU, but I see them winning every other game left on their schedule, even with no QB.
6. Maryland - Only because I think they are better than Rutgers. I think their game against Illinois was a hangover game.
7. Rutgers - Maybe better than Indiana?
8. Indiana - The opposite of Michigan - I have no idea how good they are because their schedule has been ridiculously hard. They played Louisville and Ohio State fairly well, but I think the gauntlet of tough opponents may have finally broken them. If they lose to Rutgers they will be Indy basement. (see what I did there?)
9. Purdue - Like Indiana, they've played a tough schedule so I'm willing to give them a bit of a pass. Let's see if Ohio State broke them, or if they can finish strong.
10. Northwestern - NW beat Minn, but it feels dirty having them this high.
11. Minnesota - Beat N
12. Nebraska - Beat IL
13. Illinois - Beating Maryland keeps them in the mix for "maybe not that bad?"
14. Michigan State - that bad.
-
- Michigan - Crushing the teams they should but have yet to play a team with a pulse.
- Penn State - This weekend should sort out 2 and 3.
- Ohio State - Ditto
- Iowa - Who would I put ahead of them at this point? Proving that Defense wins championships (B1G W)
- Maryland - Agree that they let tOSU beat them twice
- Wisconsin - Their offense got Hawkeye'd.
- Rutgers - Almost waited to long to wake up, but they did.
- Purdue - So much for Spoilermakers. However, the easy part of their schedule is ahead of them.
- Nebraska - Bye week didn't hurt them.
- Illinois - That win pulled them out of my basement.
- Minnesota - Bye week didn't hurt them.
- Northwestern - Bye week didn't hurt them.
- Indiana - Looked good for 1 possession then ttun decided to put them away.
- Michigan State - Nowhere to go but up.
-
I see a lot of power rankers are giving MD a pass after losing at home to Illinois and that was my initial thought as well. But when I looked closer at MD's resume in conference games, it didn't really stand up to scrutiny. The 2 teams MD have beaten have not yet won any conference games. And losing at home to Illinois is pretty bad. So I decided to bump MD way down. I guess if MD does bounce back, I will have to move them back up.

yup, the Huskers are not a good team and easily handled Illinois on the road
of course Rhule gave them a helluva pregame sermon before kickoff
-
