Personally I'm delighted to see the Final Four in some place other than Nebraska, Minnesota, or Ohio, for obvious reasons. :)It should rotate around the country. The reality of it is a city has to bid to get it. It turns out, the cities bidding to host it often don't have to deal with a professional primary tenant (NBA, NHL) in the arena they want, which precludes some markets, and the AVCA doesn't have endless budget (their convention coincides with the FF). That said, it's been so midwest heavy lately. San Antonio last had it in '05 and '11. Dallas in '03 I think. Austin a zillion years ago. Tampa had it this century too. 10 straight years in Midwest if you loosely count Pittsburgh in that string (I probably wouldn't). Seattle in '13. The WTF host cities have been Kalamazoo in the 80s and Amherst, MA in '95.
Austin, Texas is lovely that time of year. About time we get the advantage of potentially hosting at home. Dallas or Houston or San Antone would work fine, too.

Badgers at 9-0, No. 3 edged Florida today. Fifth ranked win of the year.Florida's setter went down in the second set. Stucky' s a big loss for Gators in SEC hunt.

I'm going to be in Lincoln to attend the Northwestern football game with my daughter on Oct.21st.They should put the volleyball game in the football stadium and the football game in the volleyball arena. Then plenty of seats for all.
I'd luv to take her to the volleyball match that evening vs the Badgers if I could find a couple tickets for a decent price.

I didn't watch either match last night. I'm visiting my oldest daughter in Minneapolis.Same back atcha. I didn't see your match but a sweep against a team like Pitt ain't no joke.
I do think Wisconsin is the best team this season so I assume it took a great performance from the lady horns to beat them.
Corngrats
Average ages in this match 18s v 22s.both with Freshman setters
2024 thread?I'll let you or Marq or someone create it. I'm just a guest on this here B1G forum.
Those will be fun matches. Playing Wisconsin in Milwaukee shows some stones.

an early loss doesn't matter much, they have a tournament in the post season to decide a championYup, one of the great things about volleyball is how the top teams aren't afraid to square off against each other early in the season.
