Barrett Sallee is an idgit, and I told him so frequently when he posted here in an earlier incarnation of this place (back when it was cfn and he was a writer for them).  I don't think his logic has gotten a lot better, although I'm fine with saying UTenn is underrated.
For the season, anyway.  If we're rating them right now, Hooker is done and UT isn't the same team.  But it's not a mystery, and I suspect he knows that, he's just got to fill up space with words.

He kinda always had a bug up his butt about LSU though.  He wants to say the defense would get torched by a number of teams because of the A&M game, without considering that it's probably an outlier.  He says "that has to matter."  ....it has to matter that LSU's defense has been amongst the best in the conference through most of the season.

He uses completely opposite logic when underrating Tennessee and overrating LSU.  For Tennessee, that last game shouldn't matter so much in light of the rest of the season.  For LSU, that last game should matter above all.
