This week, we're going to try to measure the split between two things. In this case, few things in the conference have a bigger gap than the average offensive yardage output between Ohio State (543.7 YPG) and Iowa (238.8 YPG). The two go up against each other Saturday in Columbus.
Q: What will be the DIFFERENCE in offensive yardage between Ohio State and Iowa? (Larger yardage minus smaller yardage)
Deadline is Saturday, October 22 at 11 AM CDT. Good hunting.

OK. Hear me out. There's an assumption here that OSU is going to outperform Iowa offensively.
Yes, this is a reasonable assumption.
But....
It's theoretically possible that Iowa has more offense (or, I would think their defense is good enough that they could limit OSU's offense to something like 200 yards and Iowa gets lucky).
So, under that scenario, should we put a negative number? Or is it just the difference between the two and if Iowa outperforms OSU, it's still the positive number that you are counting?

that one

Just the difference. Do not put a negative number. Vector direction does not matter for this question.
For those mathematically inclined, I am looking for the absolute value of the difference between yardage outputs.
