Decent chance that Bama won't be the same powerhouse by that time.

more than decent. Saban is like 71. shit he might be dead in 10-11 years. why do they always insist on scheduling these games 10+ years in the future? it's stupid af. should be a rule that game can't be scheduled anymore than 3-4 years out in advance.
-
Yeah, the stupid Alliance was supposed to do that for us, but it never happened. I think it would be nice for the Big Ten and SEC to have a set up where the schedule is decided in the spring, and all 16 teams would play a team from the other conference on a specific weekend. Then each school can have their other 2 games that they can fill with cupcakes or whoever they want. Once the playoff expands, 1 or even 2 losses isn't going to kill your chances, so there isn't much risk involved here.

so excited.

I want to see more home and homes with the big boys. Alabama should be going into Columbus, not Minnesota.

between now and 2035, bama's got h&h scheduled with wisconsin, osu, notre dame, bc, and now gophers. so glad we're venturing out above the mason dixon. those are on top of texas (current series), ok state, wvu, va tech, fsu, ga tech, and arizona (those are not in order). starting in 2025, bama has 2 p5 opponents (1 home, 1 away) each season until 2035. whoever our director of scheduling is deserves a major raise.
