Title: Tickets to Purdue at Wisc on 10/22
Post by: jhetfield99 on August 16, 2022, 12:16:56 AM
I plan on road tripping to Madison for the first time in over a decade because...well I'm not real sure why since history already defaults us to what the result is going to be, but we're planning to go anyway.

Through Purdue's allotment, we can get lowers for $103 or uppers for $93.

Does Wisc tend to put road fans in blocks or all over?  If blocks, do you know what section/area?

Or do you recommend we buy through Sluthub or similar secondary market?

I'll come with my young teenage son and a couple buddies.

And then also, is there any way we can tailgate, or since we won't have a pass is it recommended we go to places downtown instead.  Kickoff is already set for 2:30pm ET.

Thanks

Uw road allotment for lowers is lousy.  Very very low rows and scattered across the SE corner and east sideline.  The lowest few rows are terrible at CR..  Not sure if the repurposing of the south end zone area will alter the road allotment.   The other seats are uppers in the NW.     Road allotments stink most places.

Also the SW upper deck.

I would buy Section C, D, E, F or G and try to get around row 50. You will be under the upper deck (no rain) and have a great view.

Visitors allotment at the Camp is deep corners of the upper deck. Try your luck on the secondary market.

With rare exceptions (LSU. Ole Miss aren't terrible)  I'd never go with road allotment if I can help it.   Unless you simply have to be with or around your peeps.   Camp Randall also has rarely been a very pricey ticket on secondary market in my experience.

A few games come to mind, no offense here but I can't see an October game vs Purdue as one of them.
