I know the article mentions ankle injury.  But does his leaving mean our freshmen backs are going to be ready for services before a more senior running back?  Meaning they are better than expected?

I imagine the two freshmen RBs are currently 3rd string. There may be some plays that are being designed to take advantage of their strengths but their carries will be few and far between early in the season. Of course any injuries to Jabari Smith and Jaylen Wright could change that.
