New Year's Eve at 11 am. Wake has a real opponent after TAMU slithered away

Best bowl game in program history for Rutgers?
-
Since Rutgers got into this thing late, how prepared will they be? Their season was over with the Maryland loss way back in November then all of a sudden they got into the Gator Bowl a week ago.
I see Wake as definitely beatable. Their gaudy 10-3 record is largely a product of playing a weak OOC (2xFCS, Army, UNC in a non-league game) and a pretty weak ACC. It also helped that their two cross-overs were UVA (6-6/4-4) and Dook (3-9/0-8) so they missed Pitt and Miami until the ACCCG where they got clobbered by Pitt.
Wake's results sorted by opponent final record (with FCS listed last):
- L 45-21 vs Pitt 11-2/7-1 (ACCCG in Charlotte)
- L 48-27 at Clemson 10-3/6-2
- W 45-42 vs NCST 9-3/6-2
- W 70-56 at Army 9-4 (but note that this is a WEAK 9-4 with wins over Liberty, UMASS, Bucknell, UCONN, MiamiOH, WKY, GaSt).
- L 58-55 at UNC 6-6/3-5
- W 37-17 at UVA 6-6/4-4
- W 37-34 vs Louisville 6-6/4-4 (now 6-7 with bowl loss to Air Force)
- W 41-10 at BC 6-6/2-6
- W 35-14 vs FSU 5-7/4-4
- W 40-37 at Cuse 5-7/2-6
- W 45-7 over Dook 3-9/0-8
- W 41-16 vs Norfolk St
- W 42-10 vs Old Dominion
