How did you guys allow yourselves to fall behind the Bearcats?

With what we lost on offense and how bad our defense was, a preseason ranking of 11 shows Florida a lot of respect.  No?

Yeah, that's the most alarming part. They clearly got a helmet bump combined with an SEC bump in the preseason rankings, yet not even all that was enough to propel them above Cincinnati.

I have a hard time seeing Jack Coan leading ND to a top ten ranking.

He’ll be fine and no one will be happy

Looking at their schedule, handing the ball to 23 a lot and playing good defense should net 7-8 wins.  If they split the other 4, that's 10-2 right there.

I think UNC and LSU are overrated.
Maybe it's just anecdotal on my part, but I recall when big-season QBs lose all their weapons, they tend to regress, statistically.  i know the rest of the team returns a lot, but they're not going to score so much this year.
And LSU is getting a helluva bump, but I'm not sure why.  They replace both coordinators (again) and went from having 3 QBs down to only 1 (1 hurt, 1 transferred).  And their pass defense last year is still the worse I've ever researched for Whoa Nellie (literally, THE worst).
.
But they're a top 12-13 team now?  Huh?

It's pretty easy to spot teams overranked, but when I look at the teams under them, I'm not sure they deserve to move up much either.

The good thing is none of this matters except for jawing.
