Title: All-Time Win Position Chart
Post by: ftbobs on June 06, 2020, 03:19:13 PM
Okay, in an ongoing effort to see if I can break something, I present this chart.  This is the progression of each team on the all-time win lists.  Blank years are seasons the team didn't field a team and the 0 represents when the team did not qualify for the list by either not being FBS, or not having a team long enough (min 25 years, or half the seasons of the most played team).

So what happened between 1980 and 1981?  Is that when the Ivy League went I-AA? A lot of schools made big jumps from 80 to 81.

Yes, the Ivy and many others were chucked from FBS.

Clemson has climbed from 28 to 14 on the list since 2007. That is a hell of a jump.

It looks to me as if 1982 is the year a lot of teams made big jumps.

Not so good for the Sooners, but they still jumped from #11 to #8.
