I was about to jump all over Georgia State vs. South Alabama. Discovered they beat USA on 10/26. Georgia Southern is playing USA this week.

Lane Kiffin is getting too much hype for dominating CUSA East so far, while Butch Davis set up Miami to win the national title when he was there (and then got the Browns to their only playoff appearance in the past 20+ years).

Yeah, @jhetfield99 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1625) said I should join, so here I am.  I've done a pool for the past 9 seasons for college football where you pick a team in each of the ten conferences plus an 11th team that most years is a collection of the worst teams from the previous season in covering the spread.  You pick your teams before the season begins and I do the rest.  I email results each week as well as sending out spreads before the games so you can follow along if you wish.  I write as well.

Now that that is out of the way, I am really tempted to take Rutgers.  But since Garen has been giving me crap for not taking Ball State (reason - they're terrible and down to 4th string QB and 3rd string RB), but since I need a miracle to jump ahead, I will take my hometown Cardinals.  It's an even more foolish bet considering they haven't covered a spread since Week 2.  I guess they're due.
