Title: Big Ten Elimination Pool - Week 9

Everyone knows the rules by now right?

You pick one Big Ten team to win each week, straight up.
You cannot pick a team playing an FCS opponent
You cannot pick a team twice over the course of the season
If you get wrong wrong, you are out.
If you miss a pick, you are out.
If everyone is eliminated in the same week, you stay in, but you DO NOT get that pick back. However if someone is eliminated in that week by failing to make a pick, they do not rejoin.
There are 14 teams, and 14 weeks, so no worrying about saving a team for the CCG
Picks must be posted prior to kick time listed.

Week 1 - 22 players, 1 elimination (1-Purdue)
Week 2 - 21 players
Week 3 - 21 players, 6 eliminations (5-Illinois, 1-Maryland)
Week 4 - 15 players
Week 5 - 15 players, 1 elimination (1-no pick)
Week 6 - 14 players
Week 7 - 14 players, 2 eliminations (2-Iowa)
Week 8 - 12 players, 7 eliminations (7-Wisconsin)
Week 9 - 5 players

Yikes, this looks like a rough week. I don't feel supremely confident in any of the teams available so good luck to the five of you that are still in this thing.

Illinois at Purdue:
All five have already taken Illinois, none have taken Purdue yet. My guess is that Purdue wins in part because Illinois is likely due for a hangover after their huge upset but the other side of that coin is that Illinois suddenly looked like a top-25 team for about 1/3 of the Michigan game and, obviously, the Wisconsin game. Maybe they can keep that rolling?

Iowa at Northwestern:
Only @Badger1969 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=67) still has Iowa on the board, all but @LetsGoPeay (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=7) have Northwestern. This just feels like a game where the Cats could pull the upset.

Wisconsin at Ohio State:
Three players still have Wisconsin and three players still have Ohio State. @LetsGoPeay (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=7) still has both. I would be leery of touching this game either way.

Indiana at Nebraska:
Nobody still has Indiana on the board but everybody except @iahawk15 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=874) still has Nebraska. I like Nebraska in this game but I'm not terribly confident in that.

Penn State at Michigan State:
Everybody still has PSU, all but @Badger1969 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=67) still have MSU. I like PSU, but I'm not all that confident in any team against MSU's D.

Notre Dame at Michigan:
Only @iahawk15 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=874) still has the Wolverines but I'd be leery of using that pick here.

This will be an interesting week to watch!
