Through today.  Nebraska had chances to take down Penn State for the 8th consecutive time, but it wasn't meant to be, and was handled in the 5th set.  Illinois avenged a home loss to UW and returned the favor in Madison on Saturday.  Michigan with Skojdt putting up big #s now in a tie for 2nd place.  Minnesota really looking good.  Great setter, fast offense,  elite Pins, impact Freshman.   btw: Final Four is in Minneapolis.  BYU and  Pitt still undefeated (will play a good Louisville team this weekend).

Lol@espnu.  At 25-25 in 4th set of KU at KSU they lost their feed.  Never came back.  Ksu won.   Rutgers was on tv tonight.  Almost took a set from Penn st.  Almost.

For those who follow this more closely, how is the NCAA tourney situation looking.  I know the Big Ten is deep year in and year out, but tied for 9th is the lowest MSU has been in some time.  I'm assuming that's right on the bubble?

Their RPI isn't good, about 80.  They need to get to 10 conference wins.  20 conf matches total.  Any ncaa bid will need 10 conf. Wins.  Schedule is home heavy as it relates to upper tier the rest of the way.

They lost so much offense.  They do have a really good freshman.

Sparty's loss to the Buckeyes won't do them any favors.

Here's what's left for Sparty.  At worst 2-4 on remaining road matches.  RU/NW are terrible.   I doubt they go 5-1 on remaining home matches.   Probably need to win at Purdue and at Michigan, or upset UW/Ill.

10/19/18   at Northwestern    8:00 pm
10/20/18   at Illinois    8:00 pm
10/26/18   MINNESOTA    6:00 pm
10/27/18   WISCONSIN    7:00 pm
10/31/18   at Purdue    7:00 pm
11/03/18   at Minnesota    7:00 pm
11/07/18   OHIO STATE    TBA
11/10/18   IOWA    8:00 pm
11/14/18   at Rutgers    7:00 pm
11/17/18   MICHIGAN    7:00 pm
11/21/18   ILLINOIS    TBA
11/24/18   at Michigan    7:00 pm

That was a strange match.   I had one eye on it with my 3 TVs.   Minnesota overcame some dreadful serving, and after tonight, no doubt, the best freshman out there with Rollins.   Nebraska looked gassed, Again having legit chances to close out sets, but didn't.   The Fr. setter will be a very good setter, but she's no Kelli Hunter at this stage.     @PSU, @UW, @Minn.  First three match losing streak since 1997 for Nebraska.    Minnesota is the class of the league at this point.

Pitt watch: beat ND Friday (really nice crowd at Pitt's Fitzgerald Field House),  face their toughest match in conference with #21Louisville on Sunday.   I've read Pitt has secured access to Petersen Events in the event they host a regional.
