Georgia-Florida

Well, it's that time of year again. Georgia-Florida, Florida-Georgia depending on which team you are for.
UF on a 3 year win streak in the series.
UGA won the 3 before that
Last 6 meetings series is tied which is different from the norm of how this series has gone for years.
UF 6-4 in last 10.

UF comes into the game 3-3 with losses to Michigan, LSU, and Texas A&M by a combined 19 points.
3 Wins over Kentucky (by 1), UT (last second hail Mary by 6) and Vanderbilt (by 14).
Lots of turmoil around this program coming into this one with McElwain's seat relatively hot.
Surprising stat UF has outscored opponents only 142-140.

UGA comes into the game 7-0 having outscored opponents 263-88. Other than the Notre Dame game it just hasn't been close in the other games with backups getting alot of reps late in games. Everything is humming along pretty nicely for the Dawgs, plus they get a few defensive starters back for this game, as well.

Anyone care to predict the score in this one and why?

If UGA is for real then they blow this game open.  Do that and I'll stop doubting the Dawgs.

McElwain's seat is hot?

Because it's not.  McElwain's seat is hot only to the radical fanatics.  He's 3-3 when 4-2 was probable at full strength.  He's had his top RB & WR suddenly out all year.

The nearest time-wise he'd be let go is late 2019, and that's only if this season sucks and 18 and 19 were disasters.

i personally believe the dawgs of athens to have the best startin defensive unit in the game right now.  I'd also pit their offensive backfield against anyone anywhere and come out on top more times than not- they're at least in the top three backfields.  they have demonstrated, at times, an ability for their d line to be pushed, and they aren't rock solid in the O tackle as ends have slipped past more than once... that may be due to well selected defensive plays i'll be fast to add, catching those tackles shifting opposite and making it look as if they were beat when they weren't, exactly.

if i was blind to colors i'd say the dawgs handle this one easily....... but this is a rivalry that stands out as a rivalry no matter what state your arse is parked.

i still think the dawgs prevail- but i wouldn't be surprised for it to be an account involving wire time.

FYI, Florida's point differential is a little out of whack because the game against a cupcake was cancelled.

Also, because we're not that good.

I can't see a single match-up the Lizards win.  I am generally pessimistic about this game but I think this one gets ugly, something like UGA 41-UF 10.

Ok, if I take out UGA's games against cupcakes: (App State and Samford)
UGA is outscoring opponents 190-64

You may very well  be right but Kirby's Dawgs don't look like Richt's Dawgs so far.

I would say say this is proof that ole Jim’s seat is hot.

Florida's luckier than a big eared dog they beat us because of bad play calling and a hail Mary then got a holding call against KY in the last minute that took KY out of FG range and possibly a winning TD.

Georgia is the best team in the SEC right now this game won't be close.
If everyone is thinking alike then somebody isn't thinking.
