Title: SEC divided into PODS instead of divisions.

Damn this makes too much sense.

SEC Pod concept (https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/6/14/11895556/sec-football-schedule-format-divisions-rivalries-rotation)

I think the pods idea makes a lot of sense. Conference unbalance is probably one of the things that killed the Big 12 and right now the SEC is also in an unbalanced situation.

Although I believe the situation will eventually reverse.

it ebbs and flows from one side to the other. i think it's fairly balanced.

the b1g isn't.

but i'm not against 4 div idea, as long as we don't call them freaking pods.

Quads?
We'd have to grow to 16 to do it, though.  Grab either Oklahoma & Kansas, NC State & VA Tech, or one from each pair first.

While the SEC East is clearly dominating the West, that has not always been the case, and won't be in the future.
