wow, shaggybevo has been involved in a leal battle and the (previous) owner, blacklab, has lost it.  The new owner might keep it up and running, but the masses are going to bail.  End of an era.

I've relied on The Shag for quick breaking news about suspensions or recruiting gets. You ignore 98% of the blather, and scroll quickly to pick out the tidbits that can be confirmed. The Shag's sources were pretty good at quickly converging on the truth from rumor.

I'll admit I was afraid to post there. They could rival 4Chan for the ability to suss out and randomly attack targets seemingly at random. 4Chan has long since been overrun by Russi-bots and just flat malevolent haters, but The Shag did still occasionally dispense useful info.

I'm sorry to see it go.

There was a recruiting board on Shaggy Bevo called "RC Didn't Offer."  It was an outstanding and informative source of information.  The best on Shaggy Bevo.   Good crowd.  Smart people.   Not your usual idiots.
