SEC Trivia 6.0 - SEC Players of the Year
« on: June 07, 2018, 03:48:20 AM »
Up until 2003, the SEC awarded one player the conference Player of the Year.  Since 2003, it's been split into offensive and defensive (so 2 per year).  Name them.  FUNNNN!!!!

I'm going to start with 1969.  It's random, and yes, that's leaving off Steve Spurrier and Billy Cannon and Johnny Majors, but it's also leaving out a bunch of guys no one knows.  From 1969-on, it's mostly guys we've heard of and can figure out.  Good luck!

1969 - Ole Miss QB
1970 - Auburn QB
1971 - Alabama RB
1972 - Alabama QB
1973 - Kentucky RB
1974 - Miss State QB
1975 - Florida RB
1976 - Georgia QB
1977 - LSU RB
1978 - Georgia RB
1979 - Auburn RB
1980 - Georgia RB
1981 - Georgia RB
1982 - Georgia RB
1983 - Tennessee DL
1984 - Florida QB
1985 - Auburn RB
1986 - Alabama LB
1987 - LSU WR
1988 - Auburn DL
1989 - Florida RB
1990 - Florida QB
1991 - Florida QB
1992 - Georgia RB
1993 - Tennessee QB
1994 - Alabama QB
1995 - Florida QB
1996 - Florida QB
1997 - Tennessee QB
1998 - Kentucky QB
1999 - Alabama RB
2000 - Auburn RB
2001 - Florida QB
2002 - Georgia DE
Whew!
2003 - Ole Miss QB
LSU DT
2004 - Auburn QB
Georgia DE
2005 - Vanderbilt QB
Alabama LB
2006 - Arkansas RB
Ole Miss LB
2007 - Arkansas RB
LSU DT
2008 - Florida QB
Tennesse S
2009 - Alabama RB
Alabama LB
2010 - Auburn QB
LSU CB
2011 - Alabama RB
LSU CB
2012 - Texas A&M QB
Georgia LB
2013 - Auburn RB
tie - Alabama LB
Missouri DE
2014 - Alabama WR
Missouri DE
2015 - Alabama RB
Alabama LB
2016 - Alabama QB
Alabama DE
2017 - Auburn RB
Georgia LB

Yeah, that's a lot to digest.  Good luck with the Alabama LBs.  Hint:  those consecutive LSU CBs are not the same guy, and neither are the Mizzou DEs.
