Okay, so that's the extent of what I "know" about her. But compared to most Big Ten VB fans, I'd say that's pretty good.

Kind of funny that she wound up at the top "program" out of the five.

.

There was a second club player added to the roster, but she's already in a walking boot. So that barely counts.

But yeah, OSU was rotating a setter and a DS in as front row hitters.

• The sixth-ranked Nebraska volleyball team begins a four-match road swing with a Wednesday match at Iowa at 7 p.m.
• The match will be televised on the Big Ten Network and streamed at BTN2GO.com.  John Baylor is in his 25th season doing play-by-play for the Husker volleyball program. Lauren West, a former All-America setter for the Huskers, will provide color commentary.

Buckeyes add Jr OH Rachel Kirchner out of Dublin Coffman to their VB roster.
Christened.

She found her way onto the court vs Sparty, and posted her first trillion (a 1 for "sets played" followed by a bunch of goose eggs).

Hey and MSU picked up the win in a matchup of programs way down on their luck this year.

During the MSU-Purdue broadcast they did say MSU is the youngest team in the Big Ten and one of the youngest in the country, so at least there's that.

OSU is holding senior night on Saturday, even though there's two more home games the following weekend.

Bold strategy. Act like it's the last home game of the season against Maryland, and then maybe nobody will come out and watch them get fed through the woodchipper vs Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Michigan loses to IU, wins at Wisconsin and then gets swept at home by Maryland last night.

A valiant effort on senior night in the first two sets, but came up short and were run off the court in the third.

Two of the seniors honored didn't even play this year, retiring early due to injury. A third played the year hobbled, confined to the back row after spending most of her career up front. The fourth transferred in this year, and missed a pretty good stretch.

Kirch posted another trillion.

Miami and Bowling Green split the Regular Season Mac Title.

Kent and Ohio make the Conference Tourney.

Cleveland St and Wright St made the Horizon bracket.

Dayton is the 2 seed in the A-10.

Standings through Sunday.   Minnesota closes with 4 on the road @ M'land, OSU, PSU and Rutger.
Illinois is @NW, @RU, @MSU, home vs Purdue.   I still think Illinois has the edge to get that top 4 seed, USC/Texas are the remaining contenders.   Maryland needs to grind out two more wins IMO.  BYU lost one of its stars for the season to injury (McKenna Miller).  That's a big loss.

I saw one of McKenna Miller's first games in person. They played OSU in the Blue Jacket's arena when she was a freshman. First or second week of the season. OSU was still pretty good back then.

OSU won the first two sets and appeared to be cruising to an easy victory. Then Miller went bonkers and BYU won the next three sets.

Rutgers was 5 points away from winning their 2nd ever match in B1G play tonight, and then the balloon popped.  Spartans score 5 of the final 7 points and take the match.

OSU's next three are Wisconsin, Minnesota and @ Nebraska.

Over/Under is set at 3, for the number of sets in which OSU breaks double digits over that stretch.
