Add image to post fixed ration. why?

Why does the "Add image to post" always cut off the edges? It forces the pic to be a fixed ratio.

that is the URL of your pic, and it doesn't show the peripheral images in it, and it isn't exceptionally wide...





that's^ the whole one, and if you click it it should blow up....


use the bullitan board code for bigger images.  it's :

if you want to upload a pic, you can use either the drag and drop tool or upload attachment tool... the attachment will be small clickable thing below post (that blows up when you click it) and the drag and drop will be inline with your post.

So the "Add image to post" at the bottom is kinda bunk, and I should use the Mona Lisa icon in the tool bar. The drag and drop does not work for me. Windows 10, using latest chrome.
