The good news is ASU has home games in October and November too.

But if Gatorama can handle a September afternoon game (extremely rare but Right at UGA specifically requested it instead of a night game) then so can y'all.

I thought I settled my debts that night on the ride home
But I have still got hell to pay

But it ain't gonna break my heart if y'all decide someplace else too. As of now I'm open most weekends except maybe Sept 22 (likely going to ASU @ Washington which btw would also be a great board meeting) and Thanksgiving weekend.

The only home game I saw for ASU in Oct was on a Thursday (Stanford).
I would love that game as far as the teams, but the logistics of a Thursday night game would be difficult for a big group, I would think.  That's the only reason I left it off my list above.  Looks like the devils are travelling the other games that month.

You're comparing some 90 degree temps to a 350 degree oven?  Hahha, oooookayyy.
Well, I'm out then. This is precisely why I said I wouldn't make suggestions, but I did and that's it.  Let me know what you decide then.

120.. 350... same thing. :57:

By the way, it's really cold here now, but it's a dry cold - more dry than your freezer even.

Everyone come on up! Ha!

I actually love your suggestion. I was just playing on the heat thing. Tempe is a lot of fun and if I wasn't already scheduled to be there twice this year, I'd most likely go, unless it came during the Europe trip (October 31 through November 20).

Hmmm... Seattle. My absolute favorite US city.

I'll sit back and see what y'all decide - I'd rather sit in the September Tempe heat than the late November Minneapolis cold

meanwhile, yer all always invited to the annual Sharkwater party in Lincoln, NE

possibly Saturday October 20th when the Go Go Gophers visit

I assume we want to go someplace where a board member or two can be the "host"... meaning, help with taking people around or finding things to do.   I also assume big games are out due to price of tickets and getting everyone together.

since this is a big board, do we want to focus on a BIG game?

sure, but... past board meetings have included SEC, Big 12, PAC and  fans of other conferences

We've never been to a PAC location, but I can tell ya from a recent trip that Seattle is VERY expensive. Like, $300/night expensive.

Seattle is expensive.. so would be anything in California and even Oregon.   If you go PAC and cost is the key driver, I'd suggest Arizona, ASU, Colorado or Utah.

I went to the ASU@Utah game in 2015 and had a fantastic time. Also getting liquored you wasn't much of an issue at all. Yeah, Utah has some funky liquor laws but trust me, you can still find undilluted beer and booze with ease.

I've never been there. Is it nice?

I heard from some Badger fans that the bars in Provo ran out of beer. Like, all of them.
