Which team has been to which bowl more than any other team has been to any bowl game?

OU might be it?

Any chance I might come visit Austin, not to stay, just to visit, when the Dawgs play out there?  If I'm still kicking?
Plz do.  We’ll introduce you to bbq better than Bill Millers.  And I’ll let you drive whatever kind of Ford I’m driving then.  Probably a truck.  I hear they (and everybody else) won’t be building cars anymore in a few years.

Congrats to Kyler for the Heisman

And

Condolences and shared sorrow with my fellow Sooners for guaranteeing a loss in the semifinal.

Oh well, there’s always next ... decade

I filled in OU's starting lineup based on the CG.  Offensively, the lineup is pretty set. Defensively, it all depends on the scheme.  The hybrid 4-3 listed is what I think they will start with.

Coaching carousel:  I think there is a 50-50 shot OU gets Bama's co-DC, Pete Golding.  There was some flirting early which was called off once it looked like the teams might face each other.  It is no secret that Golding is Lincoln Riley's first choice.

The offensive lines are 2 of the 3 finalists for the Joe Moore OL award, the 3rd being Georgia.

As far as the game, OU's only chance is for Bama to beat themselves with penalties, turnovers, etc.

Sorry Thumper my good fellow Sooner friend but the Heisman curse has been cast and there’s nothing OU can do about but await the impending loss.

II don’t see OU on your list, so my agony-in-advance stands

In recent years:

2000: Weinke wins Heisman, with Heupel in 2nd.  FSU doesn’t have an offensive score as OU wins the NC over Weinke’s FSU

2003: Jasón White wins the Heisman, OU loses the MNC to LSU 21-14

2008: Sam Bradford wins the Heisman, OU loses the MNC to UF 24-14

2017: Baker Mayfield wins the Heisman, OU loses the semifinal to UGA in OT

Four examples concerning OU, with no counter examples, this century

I’d love to “eat crow” on this but my guess is that you will instead 320

no crow eating here
I never predicted an OU win
you on the other hand are predicting an OU defeat
lets just hope the sooner players dont have a similar belief
there is no reason OU cant win against bama

I’ll be the happiest one to have this year’s OU slay the Heisman curse, believe me.  It would be mighty tasty crow to dine on

well perhaps the most important thing to remember is that when you play Alabama its not the actual NC game
so the curse if there is one doesnt apply

Nor would OU's game in the Rose Bowl last year, but they still lost.

In the total history of the Heisman the Heisman winners team has gone 28 and 28 in their bowl game
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heisman_curse

Also of note is that Billy Sims OU team won their bowl game in 1978
