IF you had the ear...
« on: February 22, 2018, 10:33:34 AM »
I wonder what Jeffrey Dahmer would think if he had read Drew's post?  Would he chuckle?  Would he say, "Wait a minute... DO I have the ear of a former D1 HC?"  Would he say, "Mmm... ears.  Deep fried with salt and ketchup.  Yum."

So any way... on a slightly different note, I met up with Fearless and his entourage at Bone Daddy's HoS in Arlington yesterday evening.  We tried to invite and encourage Shiner to attend but, of course, he ducked the encounter once again.

Frankie thoughtfully resisted the urge to wear a cap indoors but nevertheless showed me a photo of himself wearing a cap in a restaurant.

Frankie's smart & scholarly brother was in a somewhat misogynistic frame of mind.  So much so, I was concerned that our waitress, Crystal, might sabotage our food.   Sure enough, I caught the brunt of it when they brought me the wrong beans but the intrepid young Crystal cheerfully took back the offending beans and brought me the anticipated ones.

The trials we must endure in this tragedy called life.

Still.. what a pleasure to see my favorite Iowan Cornhusker and his cohorts.

(PS - my spell check doesn't recognize the word "Cornhusker" and suggests I may have mangled a naughty word instead.  Heh heh.  Silly ol spellcheck.   Probably some Buffalo fan coded it).

I have a confession to make: i have never been able to distinguish Alicia Silverstone from Reece Whitherspoon.  They’re like the same person to me.

and christina applegate(sp?) is in the same class...

all of them are welcome to cold beverages beside my pool on a hot hot day... all at once or apart?  now that is a question.... experience tells me more exciting things happen when the pack is apart, and one way to become either the object of service (as in 'a refresh on my drink please') or the target of scorn is to have three + women present when you're standing your own guard...

i just talked myself out of it... apart, please.

and....

Nice, very cool drew.

Back in the 80s, I had a hard time telling apart Bruce Boxleitner and Douglas Barr.  Now they look very different of course.

always very enjoyable to sit, drink, and visit with a true blooded Texan when I'm in Texas.

Charley was charming as usual.  Great information, stories, and he somehow hides the arrogance.

I'm impressed that he always makes the effort to make time to meet my friends, brother, and me whenever I travel to the Lone Star State.

Really????
I was a bit concerned that showing you the pic of my 19 year old gf in a nurse costume might've been just a tad pompous but you know.... we had to celebrate womanhood on our side of the table.

didn't think a thing of it........

I told you the story of my friend the stripper that wore a nurse costume

not really a GF, but I did buy her breakfast after the bar closed on more than a few occasions
