off to the harbor......

grrrrrrrr......

as i throw money at the boat once again, this time for a new engine- a complete new engine... and that isn't to mention finishing on compounding and waxing it tonight, and re-bunking the trailer tomorrow.... just to spend next weekend planting the engine.... and all of this just to make the wife happy.

Is it sacrilegious to have an Oklahoma coach with the first name of Lincoln?

mor... er, uh Afternoon y'all... it's hot here.... and humid.  it's either sweat wet and hot, or ocean wet and hot... you're gonna be hot either way- unless you retreat (as i have) to the lazy-boy watching the Gator spring game on ESPN-U...

Been in triple digits in the Central Valley for about a month. Luckily, no humidity.

'mornin y'all.

we've found a reprieve from the heat, here- and rain... I'm watching grass grow and knowing i'll be out there knocking it down for the second time in a week... not to complain, though... garden appreciates it and things are growing again as opposed to becoming dormant in the heat.

From the article below

"On Sept. 26, 1920, the Independents beat the St. Paul Ideals 48-0. The winners would survive six NFL seasons, including one that featured Hall of Fame back Jim Thorpe."

Jim Thorpe was from a small town near Pottsville called Mauch Chunk. It has since been renamed  - Jim Thorpe.
