Is Memphis that good?

I’d say a 4-4 or at best 5-3 outcome.

Mizzou will be without their OC.  Josh Heupel is the new HC at UCF so congrats!  Under Josh MU went from 124th in offense to 7th.  Josh has hired Randy Shannon as his DC.  I was kinda hoping Shannon would replace Mike Stoops.

Good news about Josh Heupel.  UCF is an interesting "proving ground" - lots of potential there.

Mizzou looked awful early in the year and started to look half decent later on.  They tested UGA in Athens.  UGA had to pass 26 times for 326 yards to open up the running game.

The won their last 6 games albeit against rather bad teams.

How convenient that Georgia has always been my favorite SEC team.

It's nothing personal about our good friend CD, but I can't ever really root for Georgia.  That 1984 Cotton Bowl still stings.

I used to waver between Bama and Georgia as my favorite SEC team.  That solidified toward Georgia in recent years.

I'll always fight for a Texas win, and ending up 7-6 looks a lot better than 6-7, but really what I want is the extra 4 weeks of practice. This season is largely in the can. A lot of development, and many positives. If you see a college football team as an organic thing, always developing and growing (or else starving and decaying), then getting time for next year's stars to train and practice (especially since a lot of this years' stars are excused from the game) is a good thing.

Thanks Erin, we'll be camping so I guess I'll find out the score sometime after New Year's.
