Huskers/Hawks split the Friday doubleheader

third game scheduled for Sunday cancelled

The Huskers return to action on Tuesday night when they host Kansas State, starting at 6:35 p.m. (CT).

The Redhawk game was cancelled, but the Penguins were subjected to a midweek beat down.

MSU blasted 13-1 by 1-16, last place, PSU.  Need to win both games today.  Can't afford to lose this series if they want to get into the conference tourney.

Seems like Casey Mize is basically a lock to the Tigers at #1, so it seems like I should start monitoring for any Friday night Auburn games on ESPNU or SECN

Lincoln, Neb. – Trailing 8-1 after the top of the second, Nebraska (21-23, 5-10 Big Ten) rallied past Maryland with 16 unanswered runs in a 17-8 win at Hawks Field on Saturday afternoon.

All 10 Huskers who went to the plate recorded at least one hit, with eight Huskers notching multi-hit performances. As a team, the Huskers had 20 hits and four home runs.
