UW picked up a commitment from Marcus Graham out of North Carolina. Played QB, TB and WR in high school. Ted Gilmore and John Settle found him. Looks like a really good athlete who could play any number of positions.

UW has two All-Americans on its roster who were QB's in HS. TJ Edwards at ILB and David Edwards at RT.

I'm going sit back and watch his offer list grow.

MSU offered 3* WR Jace Goins from Toledo, who was committed to ND for baseball.  He had football offers from Yale, Virginia and Minnesota.  Immediately after getting the MSU offer he announced he wasn't playing college baseball...but it also seems like some helmet programs have some interest.  My guess is as a full football recruit, he's going to start jumping up the rankings.  Apparently he's 6'2" and still growing.
Committed to MSU today.
Had offers from all the Ivies also and said he wanted to decide before next season started because he wanted to focus on winning a state championship and being valedictorian (he's currently #6 in his class).  I'll take all the 3* kids like that we can get.

It didn't take Thomas Grayson long at all to jump on a chance to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers after visiting Lincoln for a Junior Day on Saturday.

Grayson announced his commitment on Saturday.

Everything moved relatively fast for Nebraska with Grayson after the Huskers offered the running back at the end of the month. He already planned to visit Lincoln, but an offer from Tennessee moved up Nebraska's timetable. The two sides had been talking for months, but the visit likely cemented things for both the Huskers and the running back.

Grayson said he was impressed by everything on campus and the vibe he felt while spending time in Lincoln. Additionally, he came away feeling good about the offense and how the running backs fit into things for the uptempo, spread scheme.

Nebraska's class now sits at four, as Grayson is the first commitment for the Huskers outside of the state and the first likely to play on the offensive side of the ball.

Tennessee verbal 4* CB Te'Cory Couch of Hollywood, Florida flips to Michigan.

2019 recruiting efforts continue to start off strong. Won't be a big class, but should finish with lots of quality. Michigan in on a lot of type players this cycle. Heard that song and dance before though. They will need to have a big rebound season in 2018 to keep that momentum going or the 2019 class could fall apart like the 2018 did last NSD.

I'm amazed (or at least pleasantly surprised) by all the kids UW is after that have M, MSU, OSU and PSU offers. They might even win a few of them.

That was essentially unheard of in the past. They rarely even tried.

I was one of those people who were skeptical on Paul Chryst's recruiting. Not anymore.

3* ILB Marcel Lewis picks MSU over UM.  Iowa, Pitt and Kentucky were among his other offer.

Apparently he almost committed back in January, then UM offered and he backed off a bit.  OSU, PSU and Florida poked around late but never offered.  No clue if an offer from one of them would open things back up.

Michigan wasn't really recruiting Marcel Lewis that hard. Not sure he even had a real offer he could commit to. It's going to be a small class and they have other LB's higher on their board and they are stacked with LB's from their last 2 classes.

RB/LB prospect Steele Chambers out of Georgia to the Buckeyes was a huge blow, Michigan was in on him super early and were after him hard, he was a top guy on their board. He's also a big-time baseball prospect.
