1/4 into season ramblings
« on: September 17, 2018, 11:23:26 AM »
1/4 of season gone already. hard to believe.

alabama - this offense makes me nervous. it's insanely good. tua still hasn't played even a full half yet. and the wr are making their names known, and everyone already new the rbs. but i've always said about big offenses, especially pass based ones, sooner or later you'll have an off night, and so will bama. just hoping it's not vs lsu or au or postseason. and the d is still good. maybe not great, but plenty good.

au - couldn't get out of their own way vs lsu. good team though.

arky - have only watched about 5 min of game time, but judging from results, well, there's always next year right?

ole miss - decent offense, no running game, but good qb and wr. oline lacking. d is non-existent. gonna be a ton of shootouts, if they can keep up with no ground game.

msu - haven't seen as much as i'd have liked, but i think they're in similar range as lsu and au, who i think are all in the teen's range.

lsu - probably the best resume of the sec right now. not sure they're top 5 worthy, but can't deny their results compared to everyone else right now. good team though. i had no idea what to expect coming into season, but i think they're quality. gonna be another tough on in red stick in nov.

aTm - i missed most of the clemson game, but i know they played well and maybe should have even won. we'll see if they can muster the same fire to compete with title contenders away from home this week.

uga -  still got the ground game. looks like they'll walk into atl again. how's the qb controversy coming?

uf - not a great start for mullen, but i think in a year or 2 he'll have then in atl again. hard to believe that streak is over though.

kentucky - tied for lead in east! atl bound! (the bball tourney is in atl too right? no? then nashville it is) pretty good team though. wonder if stoops will get better job this off season.

mizzou - no idea on them.

tenn - gonna be a while for them to build it back up. maybe pruitt is the guy for it.

usc - thought they might could sneak out a win vs uga, but uga saw them coming and sucker punched them before the fight even started.

vandy - valiant effort vs the dolden gomers, but fell just short.

Doubt if any CFB QB has ever had 14 TDs with 20 possessions.

Glad you're okay.

I do not see a QB controversy at UGA.  Fromm continues to play well.

Fans seem happy.  This can start with the fans and then the players.

Fields is getting a lot of PT, as is their walk on fresh QB.

Florida sucks.  Tennessee might suck more.  We'll find out in the Toilet Bowl tomorrow.

UGA is not looking good versus Mizzou at all.  The offense is way out of kilter for some reason.

It is amazing how teams can look great and then awful in successive weeks.

You'd think UGA would be able to pound the ball behind that OL and wear Mizzou out.  Fromm has been off on his accuracy.  Mizzou has helped them out with turnovers.

Wow.  Our offense stinks.
And we're blowing out the Vols.

Gonna be a looooong season for the Daisy Orange Britches Crew.  Shalom.

I didn't see the game, we went to the symphony, but I see a 6-1 TO margin and about even on yards on offense.

Tenn had more first downs and ToP.

Exactly Cincy. TN did far more to lose that game than the Gators did to win it but fans like Afro don’t have the intellectual integrity to admit it. Both teams suck terribly. One team imploded. The other took advantage of short fields given them. It’s that simple. I told a guy last night during the game that it was like watching the Bad News Bears.

I'm pretty sure OAM realizes that turnover margin was significant.
